Blended Learning Induction Development
Within this project I led on the redevelopment of the Seetec Apprenticeship inductions into a new blended learning format, including the Customer Service apprenticeship with British Airways. This included creating interactive eLearning content using Articulate Storyline and Rise, which the learners are required to complete before their live session.
This new blended learning format cut the learner drop out rate in half and improved satisfaction scores across all 17 apprenticeship standards that Seetec offer.
Clinical Observation (360 Scenario)
The aim of this resource was for first year dentistry students at King's College London to learn about infection control and professionalism before they attend the clinic. I worked with final year dentistry students to highlight common infection control mistakes and added these to the storyboard. I then used a 360 camera to capture the scenes and implemented by adding hotspots within Articulate Storyline. Students are required to investigate each scene then note their findings. They are then presented with the same scene that includes interactive hotspots for more information.
Mental Health Certification Programme
Within this project I led on a 2-week project sprint with the goal of developing a new certification programme from initial needs analysis through to implementation using the ADDIE instructional design framework. This project included module design within Moodle and eLearning development using Articulate Rise, as part of a blended learning approach.
This project resulted in increased confidence among members of staff on how to support learners with mental health needs to satisfy the Ofsted safeguarding requirements, as well as gaining certification within the area.
Creating and Uploading Videos for Teaching Guidance
It was highlighted that members of staff throughout Seetec didn’t have the digital skills to develop their own videos for the purpose of teaching as the business moves over to the new blended learning approach. Within this project, I developed video training enabling tutors to create their own video learning materials. This project satisfied a main business aim in improving the content quality, as well as aiding the transformation into a blended learning format.
